If I were to do this with each organization individually it would cost over $1,500 for consulting, emails and social media. So really, it’s kind of a no-brainer – even if you just send one email from the templates to your supporters you’ll come out ahead.

We will give you templates for social media and email marketing, schedules to follow, and advice on where to invest your time but we won’t be teaching you how to use your email marketing systems or social networks. If you need them there are some great tutorials about that for free on YouTube though!

Why am I doing this? To share the spirit of CoMoGives.

I truly believe that if every person donates a little bit of their talent to the universe we make our world a better place.

Are you with me or do you think I’m just some crazy cheese bucket?

When the Community Foundation of Central Missouri (CFCM) approached us about building a website, CoMoGives.com, to house an online giving campaign for our local nonprofits we knew the only answer was yes. 

Participating in the CoMoGives campaign allowed the MayeCreate team to give back what makes us special as a team and benefit not just one nonprofit but many.

In 2016 the campaign brought in $555,683. With four years of planning and promoting CoMoGives under our belt we found ourselves asking how to take our “little campaign that could” to the next level. So we leaned into the true spirit of the campaign – achieving more by working together and rallied our team at the first ever year-end giving training.

Because we realized MayeCreate & CFCM could only do so much – but if we could teach our nonprofits more about how to promote themselves it could open doors for them during the campaign and all year long.

In 2018 we earned $789,728. And in 2020 our little campaign exceeded all expectations. CoMoGives helped raise $1.6 million for our local nonprofits last year.

We know our training isn’t the only reason our campaign grows each year. The success of CoMoGives is built on the talents of each and every person powering the campaigns of our participating nonprofits. But we’re honored to be part of it. And we’ll be just as honored to share what we’ve learned to help you gather funds for the amazing things you do too.

And when you’re all finished…

  • Your year end giving campaign will be less stressful. You’ll know what to and when to do it to connect with your supporters and get donations to power your mission.
  • You’ll be able to delegate tasks more confidently because you’ll know what they are and have the tools you need to get them done.
